Golf breaks
Brush up on your swing and putting technique
One day it’s the greatest game in the world, the next it’s the most frustrating. Whichever your last round was, one thing’s for certain - you’re desperate to improve. Let us - or rather one of our PGA professional coaches - help you bring that handicap down on one of our golf breaks.
Alternatively, if you’ve always fancied taking up golf but just don’t know where to start, our beginner’s courses will suit you to a tee.
With a six-hole training course, bunkers and an eight bay driving range, we’ve got top quality facilities to match the top quality tuition. It doesn’t matter whether you’re dream is to break 120 for the first time, finally get that scratch handicap, or learn the basics, you’ll leave Inverclyde in far better shape to achieve that goal.
Choose from the following breaks
Whether you are an established player or a beginner, there is a short break to suit you. We would recommend beginners take 2 single day courses where as the two day courses more suit the established player. Each course must have four participants to make it viable and courses can be customised for group bookings.
To help keep your stamina up, a three-course lunch and refreshments are provided throughout the day. After a satisfying day’s golf, unwind at our pre-dinner drinks reception followed by a four course dinner with wine. Enjoy a continental or cooked breakfast before getting back on the course or setting off for home.
Tuition/ability
At Inverclyde we ensure our expert tuition is tailored to suit the needs of everyone, from the beginner learning the basics to the advanced golfer wishing to fine tune their skills.
The golf and course
A first-class PGA professional will take you through your paces and we limit courses to eight people to ensure you receive all the benefits of our expert tuition. Our unique golf practice course includes four greens, eight driving range bays, specially designed putting areas, a distance marked driving bay for driving and fairways woods.
Each day covers all aspects of your game, with the content dependant on your needs and experience. The course is likely to include: using short irons; medium and long irons; coaching with woods and the short course game. Taught predominantly on grass, the course also provides an indoor facility which can be used in bad weather. In addition, your swing will be analysed using both visual and professional feedback. Our in-house sports scientist will provide you with a comprehensive golf exercise programme to hone your skills further.
