Golfers in Orkney and Argyll and Bute are set to benefit from a sportscotland investment of £109,791 for improved local golf facilities. The investment from sportscotland’s Building for Sport programme will see the creation of an indoor practice area at Orkney Golf Club in Kirkwall and a new clubhouse built at Carradale Golf Club in Argyll and Bute.

Riddrie Bowling Club in the north-east of Glasgow is set to get a makeover thanks to an investment from sportscotland. The investment of £32,687 from the sportscotland Lottery fund will assist with the construction of a new changing facility to accommodate the growing number of women members joining the club. The new changing facilities will also allow the club to extend its community development programme including coaching and taster sessions to local schools.

Kippen Tennis Club near Stirling is set to receive a sportscotland investment of £18,000 to assist with the extension and upgrade of the two existing tennis courts. The upgrade will extend the total court area at the club to meet the Lawn Tennis Association's (LTA) recommended sizes and also allow up to eight mini-tennis courts to be provided within the new extended courts.
