Ian Taylor to stand down as sportscotland chief executive

Alastair Dempster, Chairman of sportscotland announced today that Ian Taylor has resigned from his position as chief executive for domestic reasons.

Commenting Alastair Dempster said: "Ian was starting to make a significant impact in the role and I am disappointed that he has decided not to continue with sportscotland. On behalf of the Board I wish him well for the future."

Ian will leave sportscotland in May and Stewart Harris has been confirmed as acting chief executive.
