New man at the helm for Scottish tennis

sportscotland in partnership with Tennis Scotland and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) is delighted to announce Jim Campbell as the new Chief Executive Officer of Tennis Scotland. The post has been jointly funded by the three organisations.

Jim has had a passion for tennis since he was a child and is currently a member of the Thistle Tennis Club in Colinton, Edinburgh as well as a volunteer coach. He has been working with other volunteers to establish a club in Balerno, where there are plans to rebuild the derelict courts with funds provided by Edinburgh City Council and the Foundation for the Sports and Arts.
Jim’s career as a senior manager for the Royal Bank of Scotland has provided him with management, financial and planning experience which will stand him in good stead in his new role. Jim joins Tennis Scotland at a key period of growth for the governing body and will be a key leader in developing and implementing the five year strategy for tennis in Scotland.
Commenting on his new position, Jim Campbell said: "I am delighted to have been offered the role. I am looking forward to getting started in March, and especially to meeting the team and working with them to take forward the five year strategy for tennis in Scotland."
