PCS is delivered in partnership with Winning Scotland Foundation, local authorities and Scottish governing bodies of sport.

  • Winning Scotland Foundation
Established in 2005, Winning Scotland Foundation is an independent business-led charity with a multi disciplinary team and a passion for sport.  It was set up with the aim of using sport to create a positive winning attitude throughout Scotland.  Sport was selected as Winning Scotland Foundation believes it is a powerful mechanism for delivering positive change in attitude and behavior among young people.  It encourages young people to reach their full potential by achieving success through effort, learning from mistake, working with diverse teams and preparing for competition.  For more information go to the Winning Scotland Foundation website.
  • Wood family trust
Established by Sir Ian Wood and his immediate family, The Wood Family Trust (WFT) is a founder funder of PCS and has made a charitable donation over three years to sportscotland in order to support the delivery of PCS across Scotland. Their focus is to develop and support individuals to become independent, contributing and caring members of society. They are a Scottish based Trust with a Global Outlook.  For more information visit the Wood Family Trust website.
  • Local authorities
PCS will be rolled out to all 32 local authorities in Scotland through the Active Schools network and sport development network.  Within these departments tutors will be trained to deliver the Double Goal Coach Workshop for coaches, teachers, sports leaders and parents.
  • Scottish governing bodies of sport
PCS was piloted with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) which produced excellent results.  Work is underway to extend the programme to other Scottish governing bodies of sport.
