sportscotland’s corporate plan 2007-2010/11 outlines a clear commitment to volunteering and coaching throughout Scottish sport. To further strengthen this commitment, by October 2010, a regional infrastructure to better meet the needs of volunteers and coaches throughout the country will be in place.
This infrastructure will support partners in the recruitment, retention, development and recognition of volunteers and coaches across the country.
A team of regionally deployed volunteering and coaching managers will be employed by sportscotland and will work to meet the needs of partners across the country, focusing on the delivery of identified and agreed priorities and outcomes.
