Strategy Development

sportscotland’s Partnership Managers work with local authorities in the creation of plans for sport within their communities.  The role that individual Partnership Managers play will vary depending on the local authorities needs and can include:

• acting as a catalyst for its creation
• relating the national strategy to local plans
• sharing best practice from other local authorities
• sharing research findings
• pulling in specialist expertise from other areas of sportscotland (e.g. facilities or ethics)
• facilitating specific areas of work
