Local authorities are responsible for the majority of Scottish sports facilities – both community facilities (leisure centres, swimming pools, playing fields etc...) and school sports facilities. If you want to find out more about facilities near you, visit your local authority’s website – you can find links to your local authority’s website in our contacts section.
Clubs are the other major providers of sports facilities. Clubs are generally affiliated with a Scottish governing body of sport – a list of SGB websites and contact details is available to view in our contacts section. You can also visit the Help for Clubs Website.
