Early notice conference call …

Sports Development – Debating the Future!
Aviemore Highland Resort

With the success of four excellent conferences behind us, we have taken the decision to re-schedule the staging of the next conference and have moved it to late Spring 2009. We hope this timing will suit even more delegates and ensure that the 5th event will be the most sought after and exciting to date.

Located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, the Aviemore Highland Resort offers delegates state of the art conference facilities, opportunities to experience numerous outdoor activities and to enjoy the best of Highland hospitality.

Planning is already underway and the conference will be led by key representatives from the industry. It will take the form of a live and interactive debate, facilitated by a panel representing some of the following:

  • Volunteers
  • NGBs
  • Senior Managers
  • Facilities Trusts
  • SDOs
  • Performance Sector
  • Health
  • Education

Also included in the two-day conference package will be a series of essential CPD training opportunities focussing on issues which are important to all who work in sports development.

Be sure to mark up your diary with the date of the 2009 conference (11th – 12th May), targeted specifically for those involved in sports development, brought to you by the Scottish Sports Development Conference Organising Group, with support from sportscotland, and sponsorship from Schelde Sports and, media partner, The Leisure Review.

An event not to be missed!

Register your interest now, and further information will follow (including details of an early bird rate) by emailing:
