Eleven-a-side pitch football/hockey (Ultragrass)
Water-based synthetic pitch with 500 lux floodlighting covering an area of 101 metres x 66 metres. Hockey pitch measures 91 metres x 54 metres, whilst the dimensions of the football pitch are 95 metres x 58 metres. Available to book from 9am to 8.45pm, seven days a week. Please note that due to a local byelaw the Ultragrass lights cannot be used any later than 9pm, last booking finishes at 8.45pm.

Seven-a-side football pitch (Savanna)
The Savanna comprises two floodlit sand-based synthetic pitches measuring 36 metres x 36 metres. Available to book from 9am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Five-a-side football pitch
Floodlit synthetic surface, pitch dimensions: 36 metres x 18 metres. Available to book from 9am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Monday to Friday from 4pm to 6pm the Ultragrass, Savanna and Five-a-side pitches can be booked at half-price for team sports i.e. not tennis. (Excluding lights)

25% off pitches on Saturdays and Sundays for junior football clubs pre-registered with the centre. (Excluding lights)
Outdoor tennis courts (Savanna)
The Savanna also comprises four outdoor tennis courts. Available to book from 9am to 11pm, seven days a week.

Golf Facility

Orienteering Course
Inverclyde has an orienteering course. The course has 30 posts scattered throughout the Centre's grounds.
Indoor
Badminton
The centre has nine badminton courts, eight in the Main Hall and one in the New Hall. Available to book from 9am to 11pm Sunday to Friday, 9am to 10pm on Saturday.

Squash
Two squash courts with viewing gallery. Available to book from 9am to 10.30pm Sunday to Friday, 9am to 10pm on Saturday.
Indoor tennis
Half main hall. Available to book from 9am to 11pm Sunday to Friday, 9am to 10pm on Saturday.
Table tennis
Available to book from 9am to 11pm Sunday to Friday, 9am to 10pm on Saturday.
Main Hall
Measuring 36 square metres (120 square feet), the Main Sports Hall can be divided by a central curtain. It comprises eight badminton courts or two basketball/volleyball courts but can be used for a variety of sports although not football.
New Hall
Measuring 18 metres x 14 metres (60 feet x 45 feet) the New Hall has sufficient space for one badminton court and can also be booked for classes such as aerobics, price structure below.

Gymnastics Hall
Measuring 36 metres x 21 metres the Gymnastics Hall is an international standard facility with sprung floor and apparatus. Call for more details and information on how to book.

Other Facilities
Xcel Fitness Suite
The recently refurbished Xcel Fitness Suite contains all the latest technology in treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing machines and cross trainers and all the equipment necessary for muscle toning and building.
Sauna
Located in the main house building the sauna is the perfect way to relax after a workout. Available to Xcel Fitness Suite members and residents it costs £2 per person per hour and has a capacity of six persons at any one time.
The Health and Beauty Room
Whether you’re after a relaxing Swedish massage or rejuvenating facial, reflexology, aromatherapy or waxing, manicures or pedicures, you’ll find it in the health and beauty room on the first floor of the sports call building. Human Performance Laboratory
At Inverclyde we recognise that skill development is only part of the equation necessary for success in modern sport. Therefore we have invested heavily in a human performance laboratory, which offers a comprehensive range of physiological assessments to sportsmen and sportswomen in most sports. Fitness tests for all levels of athletes are also available.
Sports Medicine Clinic
A fully equipped sports medicine clinic is available for any athletes with sports-related injuries. The clinic is staffed by doctors qualified and experienced in sports medicine. Chartered physiotherapists are accessible at the clinic and can be available by prior arrangement to cover training camps and events.
Accommodation
There are 53 bedrooms in the main building, all of which are en-suite. Each room has a TV. Many courses can be booked on a non-residential basis where you can make your own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Conference Facilities
The centre boasts 10 lecture / conference areas that vary in size from the 160-seat main lecture theatre, which is elevated and has a giant screen, to smaller rooms with capacity for around a dozen delegates each.
Restaurant
The restaurant seats 200 and offers outstanding food and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the Firth of Clyde. The menu can be tailored to meet your needs from sandwiches, barbeques and finger buffets to four-course banquets. Any size of group or dietary requirements can be catered for.
Kintyre Lounge Bar
The bar provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all groups visiting the centre and is ideal for winding-down after a hard day’s training. This is a public bar and the opening hours are: Tuesday-Thursday 6pm-11pm and Friday & Saturday 5.30pm-12 midnight.
Firth Bar
The Firth Bar is located in the restaurant and can be opened for functions.
Shop & Cafeteria
Visit the shop and cafeteria on the first floor of the Sports Hall for hot and cold food and drinks, confectionary, newspapers, magazines, gifts and toiletries. Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm, Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 10am-2pm.
