About the centre

Main House

Set on the wooded hillside behind the Ayrshire seaside town of Largs, sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde has magnificent views over the Firth of Clyde, the Isle of Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute to the majestic mountains of Arran.

An ideal retreat for close season squad training with residential accommodation of over 140 beds, we have grass pitches, floodlit all-weather surfaces, fitness suite and fully equipped lecture rooms.

Also within the complex there is a six-hole golf practice facility that has scenic views over the Firth of Clyde.

While these facilities have been developed for our top sportspeople, the benefits can also be reaped by other groups; - educational institutes, professional and voluntary organisations, district sports councils, businesses and the community in general.

As well as two relaxing lounges, two comfortable bars and a games room, sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde has a host of sports facilities you can use during your stay.
