sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde is an ideal setting for you and your colleagues to get away from work and indulge in a day of sport and teambuilding activities at one of Scotland’s best equipped sports facilities.
National Centre Inverclyde is the preferred location for many of Scotland’s National Sports Squads to develop team dynamics. As well as providing international standard facilities for training, Inverclyde also provides the ideal location for developing all facets of team work.
Our staff can plan and deliver a programme of events that will bring out the qualities that are necessary for effective teamwork. You can have as much input on the design of the programme as you like, or leave this to us and just appear on the day and enjoy the challenges.
Teambuilding Day
Various packages, from half day to three full days, are available and these can be designed to develop different facets of teamwork. Also available are our range of sports facilities spread over 93 acres. Including: Golf, Archery, Mountain Biking, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball and many, many more.
Our catering service is of the highest standard, as expecting of a facility that serves Scotland’s Olympic and Commonwealth squads. The catering team have recently been awarded the ‘Eat Safe’ award, which recognises food hygiene and food safety management standards beyond those required by law. This award joins that of the healthyliving award, which was awarded previously.
The Kintyre Lounge Bar can provide the ideal end of day venue to wind down and reflect before departure. Entertainment can be provided with karaoke and quizzes available. A range of alcoholic and soft drinks and snacks are on offer. For those groups wishing to stay longer, our accommodation block provides various room types, all with ensuite facilities. Bed and breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper can all be provided. Other groups may want to make use of our lecture areas, including 140-seat theatre style room, all with AV and computer equipment. In all there are 7 lecture areas of various sizes available.

Regarding the planning and content of the programme arranged with you Peter - it was first class and pitched at the right level for the varied ages of our athletes in the squad. I will favourably be considering our training with you again next year. The squad particularly enjoyed the volleyball and basketball followed by the group ball task - it went down a treat and really illustrated how well they all gelled as a squad and not only a team. Thank you very much for having us for our away day. From talking to folk it appeared that the event went very well, one of the highlights was definitely the hula hoop event! As our teambuilding is individually tailored to each visiting group we do not advertise prices. However, our prices compare very favourable with other providers, and with a little discussion we can give a guideline price within a short space of time.
