The Young people's sport panel

A voice for young people

Welcome to the Young people’s sport panel page!

Applications for the #sportpanel closed at noon on Monday 22nd February 2016. If you applied, good luck and you should expect to hear back within the next few weeks.

What is the Young people’s sport panel you may ask? Well we met for the first time in June 2014 and are the second incarnation of the sport panel. Our aims are to raise the profile of sport and give young people a greater say in the future of Scottish sport. From the age of 14 to 23 and from Argyll and Bute to Invergordon and Dundee, we believe that our geographic reach can capture the views of young people in Scotland.

The YPSP is a programme led by sportscotland in partnership with Young Scot, the national youth information charity, which gives us a huge platform from which to engage with young people and they have an extensive of track record of knowing what works best.
