Feel Your Personal Best

Along with our partners at SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and Public Health Scotland we have developed a campaign, to share the benefits of physical activity and help you to Feel Your Personal Best.

Physical activity is central to good mental health and wellbeing, and small changes – like a daily walk with a friend –can lift your mood. Everyone deserves to feel the mental and physical benefits of physical activity, so SAMH, Public Health Scotland and sportscotland are working together to help you #FeelYourPersonalBest.

By finding ways to fit activity into your day, whether that's when you’re out and about, at work, at home or at the shops you will feel a difference in your mood and energy levels. A walk at lunchtime, a jog in your local area, an exercise class or a competitive match - whatever you do it's about making time for you to move more, so you can #FeelYourPersonalBest.

Find out what makes others feel their personal best

Does exercise or taking part in sport help you to #FeelYourPersonalBest?

  • Retweet/share the #FeelYourPersonalBest social posts from sportscotlandSAMH and Public Health Scotland.
  • Share your own social media posts using #FeelYourPersonalBest – assets and suggested text available in the partner toolkit.
  • Let us know what helps you to #FeelYourPersonalBest - whether it’s getting out for a walk or being on the pitch with your teammates, we’re keen to show the many different ways to enjoy the benefits of physical activity. You could share this on your own social media, or get in touch if you’d like to tell your story in a video or case study.
