Improving equality in sport has long been a focus for sportscotland.

Over the past two years, many of the organisation’s efforts and resources have been aimed at promoting equality, tackling discrimination, and fostering good relations.

Some of the activities which have had a positive impact are delivering the Fit for Girls programme, working with Scottish Disability Sport to develop case studies of inclusive practice, and offering bespoke guidance to high performance athletes through performance lifestyle advisors.

In line with the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) aspects of the Equality Act 2010, sportscotland is developing and will publish equality outcomes by 30th April, 2013.

We are interested in your feedback on the draft outcomes we have developed and how they can be shaped to ensure they will make the biggest difference.

To read the ‘Equality outcomes development’ report in full and to take part in the feedback process follow the link below.

Feedback should be provided by Wednesday 20th March, 2013.
