Managing volunteers in sport and physical activity training course
Volunteers form the backbone of the sport and physical recreation sector in Scotland which makes working with, and managing volunteers, a core element of work in the sports development field.
In response, Volunteer Centre Network Scotland, in conjunction with sportscotland, offer regular training courses for professional staff in the industry. Training courses are focused on topics such as planning for volunteer involvement, recruiting and selecting volunteers, retaining volunteers, developing volunteer policies, screening volunteers and supporting a volunteer workforce.
