Sports Volunteering in Scotland

The necessity for the volunteers and their willingness to invest their time and expertise is considered fundamental to any progress in the development of Scottish sport. The best current estimate is that there are around 145,000 regular sports volunteers in Scotland and thousands more Scots benefiting from the work volunteers do in sport.
