West Lothian Triathlon Club – Volunteers Wanted

West Lothian Triathlon Club was formed in January 2007 to bring together Triathletes and Duathletes from the West Lothian area by way of an established club.

The emphasis at the club is on the enjoyment of the sport. No matter what your level of ability, we aim to provide training sessions that will develop you as an athlete and help you achieve your goals. Whether it's your first novice triathlon or the dizzy heights of Ironman, the experience and knowledge of our coaching and the motivation of training with fellow athletes will all help to get you there.

The club recently established a junior section in October 2012, to much success. With over 20 affiliated junior members, they are now looking to recruit and develop volunteers to assist with coaching and lifeguarding, in order to grow the capacity of their club. UKCC Level 1 Triathlon course is desirable, but not essential, as is a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ). Support will be given to volunteers who wish to complete any coach education or upskilling opportunities.
