CHAIR – SCOTTISH PARA FOOTBALL

Scottish Para Football is an affiliated national association of The Scottish Football Association.  We are seeking a committed and dynamic individual to serve as the Chair of our Board of Trustees.

As the Chair, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting our organization as we work towards our mission of increasing the participation of people with a disability in football.

This is a voluntary position that requires a passion for our cause, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive positive change within para football. We welcome applications from any individual who will bring diverse perspectives, skills and experience. Knowledge of football structures is essential as well as a good knowledge of para football in Scotland.

Responsibilities:
1.    Leadership and Governance:
•    Provide strategic leadership to the board, ensuring the charity's mission is fulfilled     through effective governance.

2.    Foster a positive and inclusive board culture that aligns with our commitment to     increasing para football locally, Nationally and Internationally.Strategic Planning
•    Work collaboratively with the board to develop and implement a strategic plan that     enhances our ability to increase participation in para football across disciplines.
•    Monitor and evaluate the implementation of strategic objectives, adjusting as     necessary to better serve the para community.
•    Collaborate with the board and staff to develop and implement an effective     fundraising strategy that enables us to expand our reach and impact.

3.    Financial Oversight:
•    Work closely with the finance committee to ensure the financial health of the     organisation

4.    Team Collaboration
•    Encourage a culture of innovation and continuous improvement as we strive to better link individuals to the sport they love. 
•    Build strong networks and connections within the football community
