Development Officer (Foundation): Scottish Volleyball

Contract type: Full-time, 3 years fixed term. 
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on skills and experience. 
Location: Scottish Volleyball, 48 Pleasance, Edinburgh, EH8 9TJ. This role will be based at the designated office with potential of agreed remote/hybrid working. 
Reports to: Head of Development. 
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.

Scottish Volleyball, in partnership with sportscotland, is seeking to recruit a Development Officer (Foundation) to deliver on the strategic plan “We Are Volleyball” throughout Scotland.

The successful candidate will share our passion and vision for the growth and development of volleyball in Scotland. They will be required to demonstrate a proven record of successfully working in grassroots sports and have a sound understanding of the Scottish sporting landscape as well as the Scottish education system. Knowledge required for the role includes coaching, project delivery, IT, partnership working, planning, and excellent communication skills (spoken English is essential).

This post is initially offered on a three-year fixed term contract. Subsequent funding for a continuation of the role will be based on external investment and performance review.
